Zero tolerance for CSAE
We prohibit any content or behavior that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers children, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, minor self-endangerment, and any attempt to solicit or trade such material. Violations result in immediate content removal, permanent account termination, and reporting to the relevant authorities.
An adults-only service
Alien Tavern is exclusively for adults aged 18 and over. Every sign-up path — email, Google, and Apple — requires a date of birth, and users under 18 are refused an account. Accounts found to belong to minors are removed when discovered.
How we moderate
- Automated image screening: uploaded images pass through an automated content-moderation pipeline before they are shown; content that cannot be scanned is quarantined rather than published.
- Human review: user reports are reviewed by our moderation team, and accounts that accumulate reports are automatically restricted pending review.
- Enforcement: CSAE violations lead to immediate removal, permanent bans, and preservation of evidence for law enforcement.
Reporting child safety concerns
Anyone can report a user, post, comment, photo, or message from inside the app or the website using the Report action available on profiles and content. Reports of child safety concerns are prioritized ahead of all other moderation work.

Cooperation with authorities
We comply with applicable child safety laws. Where we identify apparent CSAM, we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant regional and national authorities, preserve associated evidence as the law requires, and cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
