- Never share bank details, card numbers, or one-time passcodes.
Protect your personal information
- Keep conversations on Alien Tavern until you trust someone — be cautious if they rush to move to another app.
- Don't share your home address, workplace, financial details, or daily routine early on.
- Be wary of anyone who refuses to video chat or always has an excuse.
Meeting in person
- Meet in a busy public place the first few times.
- Tell a friend or family member where you're going and when you expect to be back.
- Arrange your own transportation, and stay sober enough to look out for yourself.
- Trust your instincts — if something feels off, leave.
Report and block
If anyone makes you uncomfortable, you can act immediately:

- Report profiles, posts, comments, videos, or chat messages that break our rules. Reports go straight to our moderation team.
