Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use Alien Tavern. By creating an account you represent that you are 18 or older and that the age information you provide is accurate. We verify date of birth at sign-up and may suspend accounts that do not meet this requirement.

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. You must provide accurate information and verify your email address. You may not share your account, impersonate others, or create accounts to evade a ban.

You agree not to:

• Post content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative of minors, or that infringes others’ rights.
• Use the service to spam, scam, or distribute malware.
• Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the security of the service.
• Inject scripts or code through custom profile/post HTML or CSS, or otherwise attempt to compromise other users.
• Harvest other users’ data or use the service to harass or stalk anyone.

We may remove content and suspend or ban accounts that violate these rules.

You retain ownership of the content you create and post. By posting, you grant Alien Tavern a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content for the purpose of operating and providing the service. You are responsible for the content you post and represent that you have the rights to it.

To keep the community safe, we use automated and human moderation. We may issue warnings, remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts. Where available, you may appeal a moderation decision. Repeated or serious violations may result in a permanent ban.

Dating features are optional and limited to adults. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. Always exercise caution when communicating with or meeting people you meet online. Alien Tavern does not conduct criminal background checks on users.

Alien Tavern is free to use and supported by advertising on the free tier. We show ads through Google AdMob (in our apps) and Google AdSense (on our website). By using the free tier you agree that ads may be shown to you. Where required, you can choose whether to allow personalized ads, and on iOS we ask permission before using your advertising identifier. See our Privacy Policy for details. Subscribing to Premium removes ads.

We offer an optional paid Premium subscription that removes ads.

• Billing. Purchases in our mobile apps are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play; purchases on our website are processed by Stripe. We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. We do not store your full payment-card details.
• Auto-renewal. Premium is an auto-renewing subscription: it renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your payment method is charged at renewal.
• Managing and cancelling. Manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings, or — for web purchases — as described on the upgrade page. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Refunds. Refunds are handled by the store or payment processor you purchased through and are subject to their policies (for example, Apple, Google, or Stripe). Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
• Changes. We may change subscription prices or features on a going-forward basis; we will give notice where required and price changes do not affect a period you have already paid for.

The service relies on third parties (for example, sign-in, hosting, storage, push notifications, email, advertising, and payment processing). Your use of those features may also be subject to the providers’ terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licenses already granted, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that content posted by users is accurate or appropriate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alien Tavern and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we may ask you to re-accept the Terms before continuing to use the service.
