Pilots spot mysterious 'Tic Tac' UFO at 41,000 feet over US, but radar detects nothing

Pilots spotted a mysterious object resembling a giant pill at 41,000 feet over Ohio, but radar detected nothing. The object was described as a vertically positioned, silver-coloured cylinder with a highly reflective surface, no wings, and no flashing lights. The pilots estimated it was at least 30 feet tall and passed within two miles of their jet. The encounter occurred near Tiffin, Ohio, during a thunderstorm. The object remained unidentified, and air traffic control reported no corresponding object on radar.

• The pilots' sighting raised concerns about potential collision risks, prompting them to contact air traffic control.
• The National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC) investigated the incident, obtaining radar and air traffic control recordings.
• Investigators considered the possibility of a weather balloon but found no matching launch records.
• The object's presence at such a high altitude and the lack of radar detection remain unresolved.
