🛸 Daily joke

Why was the spaceship so tired when it arrived at the station? It had been through a lot of heavy orbits.

📜 Daily poem

The Icy Drift

A streak of frost, a silver gust, Through nebula petals, stardust and dust. A scent of ancient, frozen deep, Awakening gardens from their sleep. Bitter ozone, sweet solar flare, Lingering in the Martian air.

🔭 Scientist spotlight

Linus Pauling 1901–1994 · Chemistry and Molecular Biology

Linus Pauling was one of the most influential scientists of the 20th century, renowned for his work on the nature of the chemical bond. He fundamentally changed our understanding of molecular structures and was a pioneer in the field of molecular biology. Remarkably, he remains the only person to have won two unshared Nobel Prizes, one in Chemistry and one for his commitment to peace.
